In television and streaming, the viewer only sees what the camera shows. The space, staging, and lighting are built to support the image and program content.

Unlike events, not everything needs to be resolved in space. What is not in the picture simply remains outside the camera. Therefore, the design focuses on what is actually visible on the screen.
