The X-Factor is one of the world's most famous televised singing competition formats, where artists take to the stage to compete in front of a jury and an audience. In the Finnish production, the different stages of the competition were filmed in several different locations, which provided very different starting points for the production.

Capital AV acted as technical supplier and implementer throughout the production, responsible for building the event technology and monitoring the functionality of the systems. The earlier stages of the competition were filmed in the Rake hall in Konepaja and the Apollo Live nightclub , while the final broadcasts were carried out at the Angel Films studio . ME Design was responsible for the visual design, whose concept was adapted to each filming environment separately.

The production concept was to utilize the architecture of each space while challenging its technical limits. This meant that each location had a custom-built stage solution that supported the visual identity of the competition.

At the Apollo Live nightclub, this was realized in a spectacular way, when Esa Setup's stage team built a large X-shaped stage , which filled a significant part of the space and brought the visual identity of the competition into a tangible part of the performance stage.

In the final phase, Angel Films' studio implemented a technically impressive solution, in which an LED screen ceiling was built above the stage and performers. This enabled the combination of video and lighting in a new way and created a three-dimensional visual environment for the performances.

Capital AV implemented the technical package designed by ME Design, which included an extensive lighting system, LED screens and sound technology. During production, Capital AV's system technicians were responsible for monitoring the functionality of the systems , ensuring that the technical infrastructure operated reliably at all filming locations and during all production phases.
