One of the most popular Finnish bands of the turn of the millennium, Tehosekoitin, concluded their summer-long comeback tour with a spectacular sold-out concert at the Helsinki Ice Hall. Capital AV was responsible for the technical implementation of the concert, which included lighting, video technology and light lines moving with the Cyberhoist system. The dynamic light lines and the spectacular stage ensemble transformed into several different shapes during the concert and created a strong visual look for the entire performance.
Tehosekoitin is one of the most famous Finnish pop-rock bands of the early 2000s. The band's comeback culminated in a sold-out concert at the Helsinki Ice Hall at the end of the summer, where fans got to experience the band's spectacular final concert.
Capital AV implemented the technical package for the concert, which included lighting, video technology and light lines moved using the Cyberhoist system. Otto Tyyskä was responsible for the visual design, whose plan was implemented as a stage structure adapted to the arena scale.
The central visual element of the concert was the light lines built above the stage, which were moved using Cyberhoist technology . Thanks to the system, the light lines were able to change their shape into several different positions during the concert. During the performance, they formed, for example, dome-like structures around the band and almost vertical light walls, which created spectacular stage images for the different moods of the songs.
In addition to the stage, a separate B-stage was built in the middle of the arena, where the band's singer Otto Grundström performed a few songs closer to the audience. This brought variety to the concert and allowed for more intimate moments in the middle of the large arena.
The production was carried out on a tight schedule, given the scale of the Ice Hall and the scope of the concert. However, careful planning and advance preparations allowed for a smooth construction phase, and rehearsals were able to begin on schedule.
The sold-out closing concert created a strong atmosphere both in the audience and on stage and provided a spectacular conclusion to the band's comeback summer.
