The traditional Strauss concert made a spectacular return to the renovated Finlandia Hall in its anniversary year. Two Epiphany celebration concerts gathered thousands of spectators to experience classical music with modern stage technology. Capital AV was responsible for the technical implementation of the concert, which combined a curved LED screen structure, Cybermotion technology and the Zactrack light tracking system.
The festive atmosphere of Epiphany filled Finlandia Hall as the Strauss Concert, celebrating its 25th anniversary, returned to the renovated concert hall with two sold-out performances. The concert offered the audience the opportunity to experience classical music in a new visual environment.
The Lohja City Orchestra performed on stage under the direction of conductor Atso Almila . The concert's stage design was built into a spectacular whole, with the orchestra positioned in the middle of a curved LED screen structure .
The middle of the screen opened during the performance using Cybermotion technology , allowing for a spectacular entrance for the performers and bringing a theatrical element to the stage.
Instead of traditional manual follow-lights, the concert utilized the Zactrack light tracking system , which enabled the lights to automatically move with the performers. The solution created dynamic lighting on stage without the need for separate followspot operators.
This year's concert also completely revamped the visual look of the event. Capital Creative designed a stage-like visual world for the LED screen, which transported the audience to different landscapes and moods along with the songs.
The ensemble combined classical concert tradition with modern stage technology and created an immersive concert experience at Finlandia Hall.
Warm thanks to our client Lagus Productions , with whom the concert was realized in collaboration, for their trust.
