At the Porvoo Lights 2025 festival, the Old Bridge in Porvoo was transformed into a spectacular light installation just before the historic transformation, when the demolition and reconstruction of the bridge was about to begin. The light installation was designed by Max from Capital Creative, and Capital AV was responsible for the technical implementation of the installation. High-power beam luminaires created light columns over the bridge, which were visible far over the city.

Porvoon Valot is an annual light festival that brings light art to the historic urban environment of Porvoo. At the 2025 festival, one of the central works was seen on the Old Bridge in Porvoo , which was just before a major change: the demolition of the bridge and the construction of a new one were about to begin.

Max from Capital Creative designed a light installation for the bridge that served as both a visual landmark for the festival and a symbolic tribute to the bridge before it disappeared from the cityscape.

Capital AV was responsible for the technical implementation of the work. A lighting complex was built around the bridge, centered on high-power beam luminaires . The light statues rose from the bridge high into the sky and created a powerful visual element in the Porvoo cityscape.

The scale of the work made it visible over a wide area. The Beam lights formed a clearly recognizable lightscape over the city, visible from many locations in Porvoo and often becoming a central element in photographs and videos taken during the festival.

The light installation briefly brought the Old Bridge of Porvoo into the center of the festival and created an impressive visual farewell to the historic structure before its demolition.
