The autumn Carnival of Lights is one of the most anticipated events of the Linnanmäki season. For a few weeks, the amusement park transforms into an experiential world of light, where familiar equipment, buildings and pathways take on a completely new look when darkness falls.

Capital AV was responsible for the lighting technology for the event. An extensive lighting system was built in different areas of the park, highlighting the details of the amusement park and creating constantly changing views for visitors as they walked through the park.

The lighting design was led by Rölli Ridanpää , who used the park's structures, elevations, and trees as part of the visual storytelling. The lighting created moods in the park that ranged from colorful and energetic moments to more peaceful and almost magical views.

The implementation of the Carnival of Lights also requires precise production planning. The installations are carried out in an environment with a constant flow of visitors and where safety is of paramount importance. The work was carried out in close cooperation with Linnanmäki's own technical team , so that all solutions were seamlessly integrated into the park's operations.

During the Carnival of Lights, Linnanmäki transforms into a place where light creates experiences for every visitor – from small details to the scale of the entire park.
