The World Team Gymnastics Championships were held in November 2021 at the Helsinki Ice Hall. The international sporting event brought together the best teams in the sport to compete for the championship, as well as a large audience to watch the competition on site and via television broadcast.

Capital AV acted as the technical supplier and implementer of the competitions, responsible for the event's sound, lighting and video technology . We also carried out the prize-giving ceremony , which is an integral part of the ceremony of an international sporting event.

Lighting technology played a key role in the implementation of the competitions. The lighting of the competition area had to be even and sufficiently comprehensive so that the performances were clearly visible to both the jury and the audience. At the same time, the lighting had to meet the high technical requirements of television production so that the competition could be broadcast live in high quality to home audiences around the country.

The lighting of the competition area was implemented with 76 floodlights , which ensured even and undisturbed lighting for the entire performance area. In addition, LED screens were used to create side advertising screens in the arena, which served as a visual element of the event and a platform for sponsor visibility.

The competitions also included the Voimistelu 125 jubilee show , which celebrated the 125th anniversary of the Finnish Gymnastics Federation. Capital AV collaborated with students from Kallio Upper Secondary School to design the sound and lighting content for the jubilee show, and we also produced video material for the show. Capital AV was responsible for the technical implementation and operation of the jubilee show.

The entire project was built on a tight schedule, taking into account the scale of the Helsinki Ice Hall. However, careful pre-planning and efficient implementation enabled a smooth construction phase and a successful competition event.
