The Helsinki New Year 2024, organized by the City of Helsinki, brought together a large audience to celebrate the turn of the year in the heart of the city at Kansalaistori. The event offered live music, visual performances and a spectacular New Year's atmosphere right next to the Oodi Central Library and the Music Centre.

Capital AV provided the event's world-class stage technology , which was built for the event at Kansalaistori. Several Finnish artists were seen on stage, and the visuals were designed to support each performer's unique look.

Capital AV was also responsible for the production and programming of all visual content for all artists, led by the Capital Creative team. This included the visuals for the stage's LED screens and the programming of the lights, which created their own visual world for each performer.

The sound technology was designed to meet the requirements of a large outdoor event and ensure that the performances are clearly heard by a wide audience at Kansalaistori.

The event culminated in a New Year's countdown and a spectacular festive atmosphere as the audience welcomed the new year in the middle of the city of Helsinki.
