The Gloria Fashion Show 2018, organized by Sanoma Media, brought together Finnish fashion, media and design professionals at the Cable Factory's Merikaapelihalli. The aim of the event was to create a fashion show that met international standards and highlighted Finnish fashion.

 Capital AV was responsible for the comprehensive technical implementation of the event, which included lighting, video technology, stage structures, and the overall solution for the event space.

Merikaapelihalli was divided into two clear areas: the show area and the party area . In the show area, long grandstand structures lined the catwalk, and the space was framed by large LED screens, creating a spectacular visual environment for the fashion show.

The models entered the stage spectacularly through a screen structure. The models stepped onto the stage through an opening in the screen and walked along a long catwalk in the middle of the audience. The DJs responsible for the music for the show performed from a raised truss-structured stage , which also formed a spectacular gate to the entrance to the show area.

The other side of the Merikaapelihalli was designed as a party and partner area, where guests could get to know the event's partners and enjoy food and drinks. The space was built as a visually impressive whole, and products from Marimekko, the event's partner, were utilized in the space design, for example in the form of fabrics and cushions.

Key elements of the fashion show's visual appearance were large screen surfaces and uniform, high-quality lighting , which allowed the catwalk and the models' outfits to be clearly displayed for all viewers.

In addition to technical production, Capital AV's project manager was also responsible for coordinating the event's partners and producing the exhibition stands, which ensured a smooth overall experience in the exhibition and party area.
