The Forum x Sony Music Festival, held at the Forum shopping center in central Helsinki, brought live music to a bustling shopping environment. The goal of the event was to attract as many visitors as possible to the shopping center and create a visible and energetic event in the middle of the city.

Capital AV was responsible for the technical implementation of the event, which included the stage structure, LED screens, lighting, and sound.

Since the shopping center audience watches the events from several different floors, the stage design paid special attention to visibility to the upper floors. The stage was built on a floor formed by an LED screen , and a separate LED screen was also installed behind the stage. The lighting surrounding the screen framed the visual whole and gave the stage a clear event look.

The LED floor made it possible to present visual material directly on the stage surface. The solution worked particularly well in a shopping mall environment, as the stage was often viewed from above. This meant that the visual content of the stage was clearly visible to all floors.

The sound system was designed across several floors of the shopping center to distribute the sound evenly throughout the space. The goal was to ensure that performers could be heard clearly throughout the shopping center without the volume interfering with the operations of the stores. The evenly constructed sound system prevented sound from building up and potentially creating cacophony.

The event attracted a large audience to the shopping center. Among the performers on stage were Tuure Boelius , Pehmoaino and the audience favorite Sexmane , whose performances filled all floors of the shopping center.
