One of Finland's most successful artists, Chisu, performed at a unique summer concert in central Helsinki at the main entrance of Stockmann department store. The concert celebrated Stockmann's 160-year history and attracted a large audience to the heart of Helsinki. Capital AV was responsible for the stage technology for the concert.
Stockmann's department store in central Helsinki offered an exceptional concert venue when artist Chisu performed at a summer concert held at the store's main entrance. The event celebrated Stockmann's 160th anniversary and brought live music to the heart of Helsinki's busiest urban space.
Capital AV provided the stage technology for the concert, which was built on the side of a department store the evening and night before the concert. The construction phase required careful planning, as the venue is located in the middle of Helsinki's busiest tram traffic area.
The technology was lifted onto the platform using hoists , and the installations were carefully carried out between the trams' electric wires to ensure the equipment was safely placed in place without disrupting the city's infrastructure.
The department store's box became a concert stage, offering a unique view of the Esplanade. The audience gathered in the center of Helsinki to watch the performance, and the event briefly brought a festival atmosphere to the city.
The concert was part of Stockmann's anniversary program and offered the audience a rare opportunity to see one of Finland's most popular artists perform in a completely exceptional environment.
Warm thanks to our client Sisters Inc. for their trust, with whom the project was implemented in collaboration.
